Stüssy is reopening its doors in New York.
The heritage California streetwear label is set to move into the 5,600 square-foot space at 50 Prince Street formerly occupied by bookstore McNally Jackson, work permits at the site confirm.
The store, in New Yorkâs Nolita, joins a burgeoning neighbourhood for menswear retail that includes flagships for Aimé Leon Dore, Noah and Undefeated. It comes shortly after the brand opened new flagships in Chengdu and Milan in 2024. Stüssy declined to comment on the new opening.
Stüssy opened its first New York store in 1991. James Jebbia, who would go on to found Supreme in 1994, worked as the store manager.
The brandâs most recent New York flagship closed in late 2023 after 14 years in operation. The store was located in SoHo at 176 Spring Street, the original location of pioneering streetwear retailer Union. The space is now home to former Supreme creative director Tremaine Emoryâs brand Denim Tears.
