Shana Randhava, the executive who spearheaded the creation of Estée Lauder Companies’ investment arm New Incubation Ventures (NIV), has left the company as it undergoes a wave of leadership changes.
The LinkedIn account for New Incubation Ventures confirmed her departure on Mar. 3, thanking her for shaping the company’s approach to investments and acquisitions.
“While I will share more about my next chapter soon, my passion for building visionary brands and driving disruptive innovation remains as strong as ever and I am energized by the next wave of consumer venture,” she wrote in an email viewed by The Business of Beauty announcing her departure.
After overseeing the launch of NIV, ELC investments led by Randhava included Vyrao, Codemint, Haeckels, Kiki and Melt Season. Prior to creating NIV, she led the team managing ELC’s M&A strategy, overseeing the acquisitions of Deciem, Too Faced, By Kilian and Dr. Jart, as well as the Balmain Beauty license.
Ryan J. Piela and Lauren Wisniewski are leading NIV in her place, according to the company.
ELC has undergone widespread leadership changes since Stéphane de La Faverie was announced as the company’s new president and CEO in October 2024. On Feb. 4, he unveiled a new organisational structure and executive team. Executive departures announced in 2025 have included international group president Peter Jueptner, EVP and chief human resources officer Michael O’Hare, as well as Ronald S. Lauder’s retirement from the board of directors.
