What is the Jimmy Johnson trade value chart for NFL Draft picks? And is it still reliable?

Pre-draft trades involving first-round picks

1. Bears (from Panthers)

The Bears traded back from No. 1 last year, sending the pick to Carolina (which drafted QB Bryce Young) for 2023 first- and second-round picks, receiver D.J. Moore and its 2024 first-round pick, which turned out to be No. 1. It puts the Bears in position to take USC quarterback Caleb Williams on Thursday after moving on from Justin Fields, who they traded to the Steelers.

23. Vikings (from Browns via Texans)

In March 2022, the Texans traded QB Deshaun Watson and a 2024 fifth-round pick to the Browns for first-round picks in 2022, 2023 and 2024, plus a 2023 third-round pick and a 2024 fourth-round pick. Last month, the Texans sent that 2024 first-round pick, at No. 23, and a seventh-rounder to the Vikings for a 2024 second-rounder (No. 42), a sixth-rounder and a 2025 second-rounder.

27. Cardinals (from Texans)

During last year’s draft, the Texans moved up to No. 3 to draft defensive end Will Anderson Jr. and received a fourth-round pick, while sending the No. 12 and No. 33 picks in the 2023 draft and 2024 first- and third-round picks to the Cardinals.
