Matheus Cunha has been handed an additional one-match ban following his red card against Bournemouth.
The Brazil international, 25, was sent off after hitting, kicking and headbutting Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez during extra time of the fifth-round FA Cup defeat on March 1.
He automatically received a three-match suspension for violent conduct, ruling him out of Premier League games with Everton (March 8), Southampton (March 15) and West Ham United (April 1).
The FA charged Cunha on March 5 alleging he had “acted in an improper manner” after his dismissal and he has now been given an additional suspension after admitting the charge.
He will now also miss the trip to Ipswich Town on April 5 before being eligible to return against Tottenham Hotspur on April 13. He has also been fined £50,000 ($65,000).
Cunha scored Wolves’ equaliser at the Vitality Stadium before Vitor Pereira’s side fell to defeat following a penalty shootout.
He has already served a two-match ban this season after elbowing an Ipswich Town staff member and pulling his glasses from his face following Wolves’ defeat in the Premier League on December 14.
Cunha, who signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract at Wolves in February, has scored 15 goals and provided four assists in 29 games this season.
Wolves are 17th in the Premier League table, nine points above the relegation zone.
