This feels like the tipping point of the New York Jets’ season, fittingly at the halfway mark. They are 4-4 heading into Week 10, with a game against a Las Vegas Raiders team they should beat, with questions about quarterback and whether Zach Wilson is capable of steadying the ship.
The Jets couldn’t have felt better going into their Week 8 bye, coming off an upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles. But then they barely beat a New York Giants team that accumulated negative passing yards and got killed by the Los Angeles Chargers last week, wasting a dominant defensive performance.
So now they’re here, as they were last year, with an elite defense, a bad offense and questions about whether Robert Saleh can pull it all together for an actual run to the playoffs — and, if all goes well, maybe do it with Aaron Rodgers back at the helm for some of it.
So how will the second half of the season go? Can the Jets avoid another collapse like in 2022?
Here are 10 second-half predictions.
