The New York Jets should have had a touchdown at the start of the second quarter but receiver Malachi Corley made what could be called a rookie mistake.
Corley, a 2024 third-round pick, dropped the ball just short of the goal line at the end of a 19-yard touchdown run. The ball rolled out of the end zone, and after an official review, the play was ruled a touchback.

The mistake negated Corley’s first career touchdown. He had just 4 yards from scrimmage on one reception entering the game.
