Being completely honest, it does not look good for United.
They are bottom of Group A with just three points from their four games and those points were gained by Andre Onana saving a stoppage-time penalty against FC Copenhagen in October.
To make matters worse, one of the knockout-stage places has already been taken as Bayern Munich, who have taken maximum 12 points from their four games, cannot be caught at the top of the group.
It leaves Copenhagen in pole position to join the German champions, but they are level on points with Galatasaray and face a trip to Munich this evening. The race for second is wide open, with the result in Istanbul guaranteed to have a huge effect on the outcome.
