Miami Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose is in stable condition and has been taken to a Houston area hospital for further evaluation after suffering a head injury during Sunday’s game against the Texans. The team announced the prognosis as DuBose had been ruled out the game.
DuBose took a shot to the head from Texans defender Calen Bullock in the third quarter. Medical staff attended to DuBose for more than 10 minutes before taking him off the field on a stretcher.
DuBose remained on his back for more than 10 minutes as medical personnel cut off his jersey and removed his face mask to treat the Dolphins wideout. Dolphins teammates huddled near DuBose and Texans players stood by in concern for DuBose’s health.

DuBose had one catch for minus-2 yards in Sunday’s game before the injury.
