The Maple Leafs are into a busy section of their schedule, with four games in six nights this coming week in Dallas and Buffalo and then at home against Buffalo and the Islanders to go into the Christmas break.
The Leafs currently sit tied for eighth in the NHL with the Oilers and are 21st in goals for and fifth in goals against, prior to Sunday’s matchup with the Sabres.
