College football Week 12 odds, schedule: Georgia in must-win mode against Tennessee

The College Football Playoff race featured a lot of movement last week, and more big games are coming up this week. The big one is Georgia hosting Tennessee with the Bulldogs’ backs against the wall. Will Georgia add Tennessee to the significant list of SEC contenders with two losses?

Georgia is in a spot where it hasn’t been in a while. With two losses and ranked No. 11, the Bulldogs are in their lowest position in the AP Top 25 since 2020. Of course, the AP Top 25 isn’t the ranking that matters anymore, but it does offer an early peak into where Georgia stands after the dominant 28-10 win by Ole Miss on Saturday.

Has the betting market lost any confidence in Georgia? Not exactly. The Bulldogs are favored by 9.5 points at home against the Volunteers this week.

No. 1 Oregon goes on the road, making the perilous trip across two time zones to take on Wisconsin. The Ducks aren’t expected to face too much trouble, though. They are favored by two touchdowns.

No. 3 Texas takes on neighboring Arkansas to renew an old Southwest Conference rivalry. The Longhorns are favored by nearly two touchdowns.

In one of the more interesting spreads of the week, undefeated No. 7 BYU is favored by just a field goal at home against 3-6 Kansas. BYU hasn’t exactly been racking up style points this season, with four one-score wins. Meanwhile, Kansas is coming off a dominant win against Iowa State and has five one-score losses. These teams are closer than their records indicate, but a three-point spread is still jarring.

Four teams in the AP Top 25 rankings are on bye this week: No. 5 Indiana, No. 10 Ole Miss, No. 12 Miami and No. 16 Army.

Here are the odds and schedule for every game featuring an AP Top 25 team, plus a few other notable games in Week 12.

Odds update live and are from BetMGM. All games listed are on Saturday, and kickoff times are Eastern. Rankings are from the AP Poll but will be updated to the College Football Rankings after those come out Tuesday evening. For information on streaming, click here.
